There will be endless commentary on this incredible speech, but it’s important for every American to see it and form their own impressions.

Fully agree, probably a turning point in the campaign.

My hat is off to Obama, he weathered a blistering attack by the Clinton machine and somehow has managed to up the ante, all while holding the highest ground.

I would love to be a bug on the wall in Clinton campaign HQ right now. I bet they are busy screaming at each other and are incensed because, in effect, they handed this moment of great statesmanship on a silver platter to Obama,,,, and all because they underestimated him!

    How is that for ironic!!!

Decent speech–but not a good enough repudiations of the rev, as far as I’m concerned (yea, I know- that makes me racist)–and I think as far as most people will be concerned.

His approval ratings are down and disapprovals are up. Kinks in his armor are becoming apparent. It doesn’t look like a cakewalk anymore - looking forward to the general election..

Will not be a cakewalk, but McCain is currently getting a free ride.

Obama needs to survive this crisis. I think the speech will help him in the long run.

JM is getting a pass because of the bloodbath in the dem primary– Operation Chaos (Limbaugh!) The heat will come for JM soon enough. The vast TRUE left wing conspiracy is working to dispatch Hil to put their boy BO in so they are a little preoccupied at the moment.

Here’a a thought. If Hil has no chance as far as delegates, why is she working so hard? Lots o’ back room politics at the DNC, I’m sure.

If Hil gets the nomination, watch out….All deliciously interesting.
