Fred Barnes makes a persuasive case.
I’m not a big fan of Rendell, but he would deliver Pennsylvania.

I cannot think in a clear headed way right now about Rendell. I am still too pissed off seeing him help Hillary in her vicious attacks against Obama.

Y’all know I live is Phuckslyvania and I’m under that phucks “governorship’” and I can tell you there is no other more corrupt politician around (He fits in nicely in the Democratic party
) The very first thing that bastard did when he was elected was enact a new cell phone tax, and now he’s taxed and spent billions since. AND he come from probably the 2nd most corrupt city (behind New Orleans) in the country (Philadelphia). He has mob connections from the past and he has driven PA further down the hole (if that’s even possible)- many pa citizens that have voted for him regret it (I wasn’t that stupid- I voted for Lynn Swan).
God HELP us if BO and him are the President and VP–But I cannot see that happening. I really don’t think there is any way USA will vote BO in–no way

Nick - you’re in la la land. Obama can win, and chances are he will win.

I know he “can” win, I don’t think he will. Here’s how I see it:
*a segment of the population that are red-neck true racists will never vote for him.
*The FLA and Mich voters that will be pissed that their votes will not count will either stay home or vote for JM
*I don’t think most Reagan Democrats will vote for him.
*Obviously the right end of the political spectrum will not for for him, and Republicans will not vote for him.
*Many of the staunch HC supporters will stay home and not vote at all, or may even flip to JM.
*Despite the “large” college student support, I’m willing to bet many of those kids will not go to the poles at all.
*If HC doesn’t get the nomination, the Clintons will NOT go down that easily- they are more interested in themselves and their personal power than in the strength of the democratic party– they’ll work behind the scenes to make sure he’s not elected so she has a shot in ‘12
The democratic convention is looking like it’s going to be a mess–many many disgruntled democrats– I wonder how many of them will vote at all.
Unless JM really REALLY messes up, I think it’ll be very difficult for BO to win–
We’ll just have to see
As far as la la land– if you think the chances are that good that BO will win you own more property there than I ever will!
