You don’t demand respect, you earn it
The Clinton drama continues. Now everyone is speculating on what Hillary Clinton wants.
Those around her say that beyond the mundane negotiating points – a half hour in Denver, help raising money – there is a more personal, less tangible demand that she be accorded the respect she feels she earned in an historic bid that brought her closer to the nomination than any other second-place Democratic finisher.
This is so ridiculous. You don’t demand respect, you earn it. With her inability to be gracious in defeat last night, she has lost the respect of many Democrats, including some of her strongest supporters.

yes, but for Hillary this is not about loyalty to the democratic party, this is about power.
I hate to say it but if you run the electoral analysis, in a 3 way race vs Obama and McCain, you can lay out a very serious and believable scenario that Hillary can win the White House.
If you want to see a sign, look to her comment yesterday to her supporters in which she asked them to write her with suggestions about what she should do next. This is just a bullshit way for her to now position herself as “unselfish” when she leaves the party in the lurch and runs as an indy. She will simply say it “was not her idea” and instead her supporters made her do it.
The bottom line here is that Hillary has a serious chance to win the White House in an independent run and I don’t think she will be able to resist the temptation.
the more I think about this, the more I convince myself. Obama is going to have to steel himself for a 3 way run for the White House.
Go to Hillary’s website, it says “be one of 18 million. stand with Hillary” underneath it asks you to contribute money to her campaign….
This is funny language for a “concession”
If it walks like a duck and it quacks like a duck…..
