Media outlets are reporting that Barack Obama has selected Joe Biden as his running mate.
This is a great choice. Biden is a heavyweight, and he compliments the ticket. He’s also the kind of VP who can go after John McCain. The experience factor is also huge.

I am a little nervous about this choice.
Maybe I have been too jaded and following politics too long but I felt that Obama needed a refreshing, new choice that really underlines change.
Biden reminds me of Lloyd Benson in that he helps the ticket in many traditional ways. The only other thought I have is at least Obama is clearly not Dukakis. Dukakis did not lose because of Bentson, he lost because he was a terrible candidate….
So for now I will remain hopeful but concerned
This is who I wanted him to pick. Excellent McCain ad that shows Biden in a debate saying BO is NOT ready to be Pres and Biden saying in another interview he’d be honored to be McCains running mate -and/or- he’d be honored to run against him.
Wait….what’s that I hear…oh….it’s the Obama death knell…
I think it’s over!
That ad will come back to haunt McCain, because Biden is going to say that the John McCain he was referring to no longer exits – that he sold out to George W. Bush and the right wing nuts in Nick’s party.
And how will he address the “BO is NOT ready to be President” comment? (which is DEAD on)
Hold on to the dream, G— and “KEEP the CHANGE!”
John McCain will be in Washington County August 29th– I’m getting my tickets today– want me to get one for you too? I’ll send lots of pics
Oh, I wonder if an Obama ad (or bumper sticker) will look something like this:
Obama-Biden – ’08 – A Clean, Articulate Black Guy and an Old Polical HACK– Vote Democrat!
how bout a mccain bumper sticker that says “give nuclear holocost a chance” or maybe “national healthcare? Fuck you i make more than 5,000,000 per year”
Nick – this is a losing battle for you
Gerardo– you and I have both been 100% in our predictions of the last 2 Presidential elections–
I’m not remotely worried about an Obama presidency any longer (at least not at this point).
