It would be interesting to hear your opinion on Glenn if you heard even 15 minutes of his radio or tv show.
Re the “concentration camps,” he’s been trying to debunk that rumor, but says his researchers have uncovered “things” that are disturbing around that issue, but he still DOESN’T believe it to be true-but if you only read Media Matters and Kos, that’s a truth you’d never know…
I’ve listened to him many times. He’s a loon. I told you guys this when he took the job at FOX.
He’s using classic scare tactics. His tone was one of fear and apprehension, trying to rile up the audience. Then he says he doesn’t have any proof but he just can’t debunk it, but certain unexplained “things” bother him. Are you kidding me?
Well, I can’t debunk that he’s the Devil, but that doesn’t mean I should go on TV and say that.
He’s huge on the radio, he was VERY successful when he was on CNN and he’s blowing it out on FOX. He has an enormous following of smart, thoughtful people and has guests on like Ron Paul, Bernie Goldberg, Ben Stein, and many others.
If you would take the time to really listen to him, there is nothing you can point to to say he’s anything but reasonable.
Everything you listed is irrelevant. Savage has a huge audience as well – it means nothing.
He has moments when he makes good points, but he’s a loon. He knows he can get higher ratings by whipping up fear. He’s playing to all the nuts who were distributing the Obama emails during the campaign. You don’t mention words like totalitarian state unless you have real evidence of a problem. He’s sick. The “name the monster in the room” crap is beyond ridiculous.
I watched his show many times on CNN. He’s always been a nut.
watch it and tell me now that Beck is a loon! Than you would have to say one of the Greatest president in the history is a loon!! great real dude! wake up and quite drinking the Kool-Aid!
Glenn Beck is talking about refounding the nation. We don’t need our nation to be refounded. Just like we don’t need our nation to be “changed”. We have a system that works. All we need is the right people to turn the gears.
He is right on a lot of things, but he can be an alarmist sometimes. Especially when he says really outrageous stuff. You either have to be doing it for ratings or because you actually believe it. Unfortunately for Beck that means he believes a lot of BS.
And to be so pro American, he seems very anti American when he laughs at electric cars and initiatives to help scientific progress to stop our oil dependency.
I still watch him every now and then, but only when he’s not crying or acting like the world is going to end tomorrow. We are already aware of how bad things are. We don’t need it reminded to us every day.
It’s nice to see this post come back to life. I get it now- Glenn Beck IS scary— he scares the crap out of libs because he points out the insanity of libs and the insanity of this radical administration.
BO is in trouble because of the voices of Beck, Limbaugh, FOX, and the common sense of the American people. This liberal nightmare we’re living looks like it’ll be short lived, AND if this HORRIBLE health care bill fails (which I pray it does) Obama will be thankfully done- the next defeat will HAVE to be “cap and tax,” which should be easy after the health care failure.
Comparing beck and jfk is actually pretty telling. When you review jfk and his world view he likely would be to far right to run as a presidential candidate these days. Boy I miss the days when the left and right guideposts were Reagan and Ted Kennedy. You could actually trust both men and what it is they believed in. You knew where they stood and would know what they were up too. Today, our leaders have proven they cannot be trusted. At least Pres. Obama has been straight about hailing from the far left. He is not hiding, however his staff and press around him try to blur his stances for public consumption. His message only suffers from the propaganda served up by those whom prefer to ‘nudge’ the nation left and serve to confuse many issues. Enough of the rino’s and dino’s and their rapidly shifting allegiances. Let’s draw clear battle lines and let it play out. This may be why some find Beck to be scary since he is constantly digging out the garbage and sifting through it to expose the core of issues. It would be nice to have that clarity and then have the outright debates.
I’d love to know what in that clip was scary. Put up a couple of clips of the Bill Mahr show-THAT’S scary, and dangerous.
Glenn is all about common sense.
You’re the one who is scary
Anyone who says we are on our way to totalitarian government and claims that he’s afraid of concentration camps is a complete buffoon.

Jim – You’re comparing what Glenn beck said here to JFK? Wow – that’s hilarious.

Clarity from Glenn Beck? Now that’s funny
