Obama campaign releases first ad
The ad is pretty good, and it frames the campaign nicely for President Obama. Simply, he inherited a mess, and his decisions have helped the country to move forward. The auto industry bailout is front and center in the ad.
Mitt Romney actually helped the cause this week when he tried to take credit for the auto bailout that he opposed.
The polls are close at the moment, so anything can happen, but Romney’s propensity to make claims that contradict his previous positions will likely undo him in the end.
California’s deficit is $16 BILLION dollars. The imbecile that is Jerry Brown did nothing to stem spending-he increased it, all based on idiotic liberal policies. Obama is doing the exact same thing on a national scale but multiplied by millions– how can that possibly be productive and how can anyone possibly support this walking, incompetent disaster?
What does California have to do with anything?
Also, the deficit exploded when Bush got into office, and Cheney said deficits don’t matter. Now, Romney wants to go back to Bush policies. Romney is actually advocating an INCREASE in defense spending, as opposed to common sense cuts supported by Obama and anyone who is truly concerned about our deficits. Romney was disappointed when Obama ended the Iraq War, another colossal waste of money. Now he’s against Obama setting a date to end the war in Afghanistan.
Unless conservatives abandon the idiotic neocon foreign policy, they will never have credibility on the deficit.
There is nothing “common sense” about obama. He’s an embarrassing disgrace, he’s incompetent, he’s everything bad.
With obama “ending” the war things are out of control in Iraq, al queda is now in Seria and Putin has war ships in that area daring us to do something (he laughs at obama, he knows the idiot we have for president)- now is not the time to cut defense spending or the time to cut our nuclear capabilities.
It was nice to see Lugar lose, it’s awesome to see the support Scott Walker is getting in Wisconsin, and it’s HILARIOUS that obama almost lost in the primaries to an incarcerated felon in West Virgina (fascinating how that got no “news” coverage, but a flimsy story about some incident that may or may not have happened over 50 years ago while Romney was in high school is all over the place).
I hope people are waking up to this idiot. The big hurdle sensible voters have is the fact close to 50% of the population pay no federal income tax AND get a tax refund. Who knows how many people are on food stamps, free cell phones, heating assistance, WIC, reduced or free school lunches, reduced internet access and on and on and on- and all those bottom feeders are big fat votes for this administration.
