Rich Lowry of the National Review is being mocked for this statement about Sarah Palin following the VP debate.
Palin too projects through the screen like crazy. I’m sure I’m not the only male in America who, when Palin dropped her first wink, sat up a little straighter on the couch and said, “Hey, I think she just winked at me.” And her smile. By the end, when she clearly knew she was doing well, it was so sparkling it was almost mesmerizing. It sent little starbursts through the screen and ricocheting around the living rooms of America. This is a quality that can’t be learned; it’s either something you have or you don’t, and man, she’s got it.
How low can the conservative movement go?

I think Bush Derangement Syndrome has completely eroded any semblance of deep critical thinking when it comes to liberals analyzing conservatives– it’s a shame, really.
Every liberal blog is in knots and has a case of sever heartburn at the likability of Sarah, and the fact that she held her own in that debate bumps up their blood pressure to dangerous levels and impairs their thinking.
She did great in that debate, and I’m convince she WAS winking at me….She’s the conservatives down home answer to Billy C, except she’s sincere and can be trusted to maintain the honor of the Oval Office.
One of these days you’ll look back on this period and be very embarrassed

Sarah Palin is starting to remind me more and more of Gerardine Ferraro. Mondale made a desperate move to try to pump energy into his campaign and McCain did the same.
